Privacy policy
The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this data protection information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.
Contact with us
If you contact us using the form on the website, the data you provide will be stored by us for six months for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
If this request results in a purchase: see chapter Data storage
Data storage
We would like to point out that the webshop operator stores personal data of the buyer such as name, address, telephone number and ordered items for the purpose of simplifying the purchasing process and for subsequent contract processing.
The data you provide is required to fulfill the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. Without this data, we cannot conclude the contract with you. Data will not be transferred to third parties, with the exception of the transfer of credit card data to the processing bank/payment service provider for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the transport company/shipping company commissioned by us to deliver the goods and to our tax advisor to fulfill our tax obligations.
After canceling the purchase process, the data stored by us will be deleted. If a contract is concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiry of the retention period under tax law (7 years).
The data name, address, purchased goods and date of purchase are also stored until the expiry of the product liability (10 years). Data processing is carried out on the basis of the statutory provisions of Section 96 (3) TKG and Art. 6 (1) (a) (consent) and/or (b) (necessary for contract performance) of the GDPR.
Cookies
We use the “Real Cookie Banner” consent tool to manage the cookies and similar technologies used (tracking pixels, web beacons, etc.) and related consents. Details on how “Real Cookie Banner” works can be found at https://devowl.io/de/rcb/datenverarbeitung/.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data in this context is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the management of the cookies and similar technologies used and the related consents.
The provision of personal data is neither contractually required nor necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You are not obliged to provide the personal data. If you do not provide the personal data, we will not be able to manage your consent.
Web analysis
When our website is accessed, a standard entry is made in the web server’s log file, which is technically necessary to maintain operation. The log files are analyzed non-publicly and on the basis of pseudonymized IP addresses without drawing conclusions about individuals using a suitable tool in order to assess the performance of the website.
Facebook plugins
Plugins from the social network Facebook, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA are integrated on our pages. You can recognize the Facebook plugins by the Facebook logo or the “Like button” on our site. You can find an overview of the Facebook plugins at http://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/
If you visit our pages with a logged-in Facebook user account, a direct connection is established between your browser and the Facebook server via the plugin. Facebook receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you click on the Facebook “Like” button while you are logged into your Facebook account, you can link the content of our pages to your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to associate your visit to our pages with your user account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Facebook. Further information on this can be found in Facebook’s privacy policy at
http://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php
If you do not want Facebook to be able to associate your visit to our pages with your Facebook user account, please log out of your Facebook user account.
Instagram plugins
Our website uses plugins from Instagram, which are operated by Instagram LLC, 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA (“Instagram”). The plugins are marked with an Instagram logo, for example in the form of an “Instagram camera”. An overview of the Instagram plugins and their appearance can be found here:
http://blog.instagram.com/post/36222022872/introducing-instagram-badges
When you access a page on our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to Instagram’s servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Instagram directly to your browser and integrated into the page. Through this integration, Instagram receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have an Instagram profile or are not currently logged in to Instagram. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to an Instagram server in the USA and stored there.
If you are logged in to Instagram, Instagram can directly associate your visit to our website with your Instagram account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the “Instagram” button, this information is also transmitted directly to an Instagram server and stored there. The information is also published on your Instagram account and displayed to your contacts there. The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Instagram as well as your rights in this regard and setting options to protect your privacy can be found in Instagram’s data protection information: https://help.instagram.com/155833707900388/
If you do not want Instagram to assign the data collected via our website directly to your Instagram account, you must log out of Instagram before visiting our website. You can also completely prevent the Instagram plugins from loading with add-ons for your browser, e.g. with the script blocker “NoScript”.
